چکیده
The forecast of irrigation requirements in commercial olive orchards the era climate change is at forefront scientific research. Simplified models that are based on monitoring soil and plant water status, along with microclimatic variables well established. In present study, an attempt was made to correlate tree sap fluxes theoretical grass losses, as expressed by reference evapotranspiration (ETo) mild moderate water-stress conditions. flow soil–plant–air continuum monitored using thermal dissipation probes (TDP), which have a comparatively low cost satisfactory reliability, while variability meteorological station placed within experimental orchard. assessment stress conducted via coefficient (Ks), determined according availability, validated measurements pre-dawn potential stomatal conductance. results suggest existence exponential correlation (R2 = 0.869) between daily transpirational losses evapotranspiration, methodology’s applicability verified validation process 0.804 RMSE 0.579 L per day).

Sap flow of three co-occurring Mediterranean woody species under varying atmospheric and soil water conditions.
We studied the seasonal patterns of water use in three woody species co-occurring in a holm oak forest in northeastern Spain. The three species studied, Quercus ilex L., Phillyrea latifolia L. and Arbutus unedo L., constitute more than 99% of the total basal area of the forest. The study period included the dry seasons of 1999 and 2000. Water use was estimated with Granier-type sap flux sensors...
متن کاملDetermination of optimal and and water allocation under limited water resources using soil water balance in Ordibehesht canal of Doroodzan water district
ABSTRACT- Inadequate water supply is the major problem for agriculture in arid and semi-arid regions. Thus, effective management should be considered for water resources planning. In this research, a model was provided which is able to estimate optimal land and water allocation in the Doroodzan irrigation network. Optimal water management model was used at farm level to evaluate different defic...
متن کاملSoil-Tree-Atmosphere Water Relations
A process model of the soil-tree-atmosphere continuum, which treats the plant physiology, eco-physiology and vegetation structures in detail, needs to describe the dynamics of the water flow within this continuum. The concept of a soil-plant-atmosphere continuum (SPAC) (Philip, 1966) was first described by Huber (1924). In such a continuum, the removal of water lowers the water potential in the...
متن کاملApproximate Entropy as a measure of complexity in sap flow temporal dynamics of two tropical tree species under water deficit.
Approximate Entropy (ApEn), a model-independent statistics to quantify serial irregularities, was used to evaluate changes in sap flow temporal dynamics of two tropical species of trees subjected to water deficit. Water deficit induced a decrease in sap flow of G. ulmifolia, whereas C. legalis held stable their sap flow levels. Slight increases in time series complexity were observed in both sp...
متن کاملUrban Water Flow and Water Level Prediction Based on Deep Learning
The future planning, management and prediction of water demand and usage should be preceded by long-term variation analysis for related parameters in order to enhance the process of developing new scenarios whether for surface-water or ground-water resources. This paper aims to provide an appropriate methodology for long-term prediction for the water flow and water level parameters of the Shann...
